United Kingdom Louis Theroux on DVD

To own every episode of Weird Weekends & When Louis Met available on DVD (there are some unreleased on any DVD) you need to buy the earlier releases of The Best of Weird Weekends. The original Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 or the newer release Vol. 2 & 4. All other episodes are available on "Louis Theroux: The Collection" although it includes some of the same episodes as the sets previously mentioned.

So to own a complete Louis collection (so far) you need to buy:

The Best of Weird Weekends (Original Vol. 1 & 2 or re-released Vol. 1, 2, 3 & 4)
Louis Theroux: The Collection (2007)
The Strange and the Dangerous (2009)
Law and Disorder Collection (2009)
The Odd, the Bad and the Godly (2011)

If I've made any mistakes or missed anything please let me know.

You're right - I can't believe how many releases there are!

Yeah, I'm watching that right now.

There are a lot, it's pretty confusing. I'd like them to release a complete set of everything he's done. Although he's still making documentaries.

I think I've figured it out. You can get most of the Weird Weekends episodes in Louis Theroux: The Collection but if you want the missing episodes: "UFOs" and "Hypnosis" you will need to buy the original Weird Weekends DVD Vol. 1 & 2 or the newer release Vol. 2 & 4.

There are lots of unreleased Louis docs, unfortunately. You can't get "Born Again Christians", the first of the Weird Weekends on DVD. There's also an episode (apparently) called "Weird Christmas" where people from the first series come to Louis' place for Christmas.

"Infomercials", "Demolition Derby" and "Off-Off Broadway" from WW series 2 aren't available on DVD, and neither are "Indian Gurus" or "Body Building" from series 3.

Then there's "When Louis Met Keith Harris & Orville in Panto" and "When Louis Met Max Clifford" which aren't on the Complete Collection, as well as the infamous "Louis, Martin & Michael" (Michael Jackson) documentary which isn't out anywhere either.

All of his most recent BBC2 docs (2007 onwards) are out in the three collections: 'The Strange and the Dangerous', 'Law and Disorder' & 'The Odd, the Bad and the Godly'. The final four docs ("America's Most Dangerous Pets", "Extreme Love: Autism", "Extreme Love: Dementia" & "Twilight of the Porn Stars") will probably be released together in the near future.

And yes, I'm a big Louis fan too!

It's a shame that they haven't released everything. I started watching his documentaries a few years ago (re-runs of weird weekends etc.) then I watched a lot of his older ones online a couple of years ago. There aren't many that I haven't watched.

There should be enough content for a Vol. 5 now, shouldn't there? Love his stuff.
