The Blacklist - S8 - US BD: Is it region free?

Has anybody picked up the US version of The Blacklist season 8? I have the blu rays for season 1-7 from various sources (UK, Australia, Germany), but the only place that got season 8 on BD is the US. As the info page on here only says region A as other regions untested, i don't really want to drop a large chunk of change on something i might not be able to play here in the UK. And i know some previous seasons were region locked.

Awesome thanks! I noticed the page on here only confirmed Region A, so it's a big price tag for something i might not be able to play haha. Love the show though!

When is it likely Sony will announce a Blu-ray for S9? Assuming it will be MOD like last time. I only watched the first 2 episodes of this season when they aired on TV but kinda lost interest but as the season has finished airing figured i'd just grab the BD if it gets one and binge from there - fingers crossed...i have S1-8 so would be a shame if they stopped now

Next season doesn’t start until early 2023 so maybe November?

Considering trying out the series and getting the Blu-ray release of the first season of The Blacklist. Watched some of an episode from the ninth season tonight (it was shown on Sky Showcase). Among the guest stars was

He's a main character or at least a supporting one for several seasons. He's Red's lawyer and part of his inner circle.

To be honest the series is all about Spader's character and the series has been a shadow of its better early seasons. The decline started with a major plot being muddled instead of just confirming what everyone knows simply for the sake of attempting to continue the mystery.
Then other plots have been abandoned and the story became increasingly ridiculous the last two seasons have been terrible and this comes from a fan of the show since the beginning.
The early seasons are generally decent the budget wasn't slashed and the story was more realistic as it could be given the plot.

I don't think 9&10 will not be on blu ray.or dvd. Falls into the same category as Ray Donavan, Power, The Handmaids Tale, Daredevil, Orange is the New Black, Knightfall, Vice Principles, and others . Unless u go to etsy and have a seller make u 1. Or buy the dvds. Then convert the art into blu ray. Like I do for Shows that switched to DVD only. Shameless last 2 seasons were DVD only. American Horror Story and Greys Anatomy stopped physical media altogether. I don't have streaming so buy the discs
