Rush Steelbook - where to buy? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi guys,

i was looking online through the various editions for the "Rush" movie (Ron Howard) and saw that there was a few options in terms of steelbooks. While the red one with the title is nice, it's a little bland. There was one that i saw from KimiDVD (i think), which had the cars on the steelbook. The case also had a lenticular image on it and a lot of collectible items. Is there a place i can get this one without it costing me a fortune? I'm in Canada by the way and our dollar value really doesn't help matter.

The company is kimchidvd. Their site shows several versions of the steelbook, most of which, including the one with extras that you mentioned, are sold out. Aftermarket (ebay, etc.) may be your best shot. Prices with shipping start at $55 us dollars and up. Good luck.

The Kimchi steelbook is pricey, but it is really, really beautiful.

Just check out the trade forums here, specifically the collectibles/limited edition thread, you should be able to find a few in there. The lenti slip Kimchi is usually in the $45-60 price range, which is really close to the original price with shipping factored in. The price has stayed down because of the amount they produced, which iirc was 2500 or more, for each version. I had then lenti and ended up selling in favor of the full slip.

There's a lenticular one on eBay (from a Canadian seller even, a member here iirc) for only $38.99 plus shipping. When I bought mine new it was $47.80 after shipping from Kimchi, so you won't be paying much more than that.

I was able to snag the red one with just the title on ebay for $22 a few months back. Probably my favorite of the 30ish sbs i own.
