This poll is ONLYfor those that have purchased and watched (at least some of) Lost Season 3 on Blu-ray.

Would you go back and purchase Lost Season 1 and/or 2 on Blu-ray?

i think Lost blows!!! lol im kidding. its a damn good show and i've been thinking about getting the seasons on blu.... season 4 is gonna rock... i heard it was getting a better prime time spot on thursdays at 9pm...

I do own the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD. I would repurchase them on Blu in a heartbeat.

I would totally buy 1 and 2 on Blu-ray! Got a soft spot for Evangeline Lilly...she was very nice when I met her (in an airport of all places!)

I don't own the first two seasons because I have hi-def rips of all the episodes. I would buy them on Blu in a heartbeat.

I saw S1 and S2 at ABC HD.. Thrust me guys, ABC HD is NOTHING compared that the BluRay.. NOTHING. Even scene from 'S2' in Previously scene are 2x better than ABC run. ABC look nice, but it look heavely DNR'd, It mean you can see every people on Kate (Phrakles) faces and body... even if it's not a close up!

These are only my OPINIONS, but I am very confident that Buena Vista will release Lost Seasons 1 & 2 on Blu-Ray, possibly around this time next year. They released Season 3 on Blu first because, well, it was time for the third season to come out, so why not give it the All-Star treatment. I'm sure they are already working on putting together Seasons 1 & 2 for Blu-Ray release, but will wind up holding off on releasing them 1) until they see how well season 3 does on Blu, and 2) until Season 4 is due for it's release next year at this time. That just seems to make the most sense to me. They most likely would assume that most people who would be buying Season 3 on Blu-Ray would probably already own Seasons 1 and/or 2 on DVD. And if you, as a customer, have a limited budget and are forced to make a choice, which are you going to buy -- the Blu-Ray edition of a season you already own on DVD, or the Blu-Ray edition of the next season in the franchise? I think the choice for most of us is obvious -- Season 3 on Blu. I personally am happy that they DIDN'T release all three on Blu at once, since I do already own Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD. I will definitely be upgrading to Blu when they are released, but it's nice to know my wallet will get a little bit of a breather before I'll have to do that.

I'm dieing to take a field day/weekend/week/month (pending on work/sleep/social life/couch sores) to rewatch all of the LOST episodes, but I'm waiting until I own them all on Blu-ray. The wait is killing me, I'm holding Season 3 in Blu IN MY HANDS and I don't want to watch it until I can start from the very very beginning.

I DID own Lost S1 and S2 on DVD. Sold them when I saw that Lost S3 was coming on Blu. Bought Lost S3 on blu and WILL buy S1 and S2 whenever they get here baby!

I own the DVD's right now but have some friends who would gladly buy them off my hands for a discounted price so that I could make room for Blu-ray versions. And like everyone else is saying, the audio/video quality of S3 is so incredible that the only way I wouldn't buy them on day one is if a natural disaster shut down all the stores that sold them. I hope our insiders show these results to BV and ask them to get started right away.

I'm not an insider, but it's exactly why I started this thread.

I'm also hoping that the sales numbers of Lost: S3 will "encourage" BVHE to author S1 & S2 sooner rather than later.

We will probably see them with the release of Season 4 on Blu-ray in 2009.

Definitely, if we have a short season because of the writers strike, we should get to see the back seasons on BD & not just LOST, lots of other tv shows, too.
