Ted 2 won't be released until the summer, but it looks like the ball is already rolling on the third installment of the comedy series.
Sam Jones, aka Flash Gordon, who made a cameo in the original Seth MacFarlane film and returns for the second, spilled the beans when he revealed that he "just signed on" for the third film.
Speaking to Comicbook.com, Jones said: "Ted 2 comes out June 26. I just signed on for Ted 3.
"We're moving onwards and upwards, it's wonderful. It's a great adventure at this time in my life," he added.
Jones wasn't able to divulge more information on the film, saying: "We haven't filmed Ted 3 yet."
Ted 2 sees the MacFarlane-voiced stuffed bear having to prove to a court of law that he is human in order to maintain custody of his newborn child.
Mark Wahlberg is back as Ted's hapless friend John Bennett, while Amanda Seyfried joins the main cast for the sequel.
Speaking about Ted 2, Jones said that "it's funny, if not funnier" than the original film.
A copyright lawsuit against Ted creator Seth MacFarlane was recently dismissed after a federal judge in Los Angeles ruled that MacFarlane did not copy an animated bear called Charlie owned by Bengal Mangle Productions.
