These are some nice pics, and you did a great, I really like it all. Now it's time for you to invite everyone over from blu-ray.com to come and test.

Only advice I would give, is to bring your center channel to the edge of the table. right now, your getting reflective sound from that stand.

I noticed your link in your sig, it brings a person to this thread, which is ok, but there is a gallery you should post your pics in

https://www.blu-ray.com/community/ga...r=CyberAthlete

Once you post in the gallery, a link will come up under your name.

Thanks HAMP. I did as you suggested! Didn't realize that I could add them to my profile!

Not sure how many of you would fly out maybe an online video conference movie viewing? scratch that...

Your welcome! You would be surprised who live in your area and would love to listen to different systems. Darn it, I just noticed I removed my location, and that was part of the tease. I live in Oak Park, but not IL...

We have an Oak Park Michigan here, and some people thought I lived in IL.

Hello CyberA, Nice transformation from Old to New. Now move that center channel out to the edge of the stand like Hamp suggested and maybe a little wire management is in order.

lol yea I need to get some cable covers to hide them. I just set everything up a week ago, so will be getting some more items to manage cables and hide away unnecessary stuff.

I moved the center channel out to the edge, and have adjusted it in the receiver as well...although it's hard to tell but I originally had the center channel at an incline with an ever so small angle of it facing upwards to reduce the sound bouncing off the table and directed towards the listeners.

Thanks for the comments!

It was hard to tell in your pix the slight angle on the CC. That was a plus. You should re-run Audyssey instead of what I assume you meant and changed just the distance in the AVR.

I was going to say the samething.. You should re-run Audyssey when moving and/or making changes to the room. That is some advice I hate to give.

It's even funny, even if you don't like the results of running audyssey, just re-run, you will get different results... lol

The new re-run changes are not always in the speakers distance or db's, it's in the EQ and that is something they don't let you see.

Ya, I changed the distance and the db on the speaker. But i will run audyssey tonight to see how it configures everything. Should I just run it three times from the same location? or three different locations? I read somewhere people mentioned just running it in one location...thanks!

All those are bad idea's. With your Onkyo it would sound so much better if you were to use all eight locations.

Do you have a mic stand or camera stand? Whatever you do, do not put the mic on something flat.

So i recalibrated my speakers using Audyssey and I knew that I was right about the fact that my Rear Left Speaker was not as loud as the Rear Right and Audyssey set that 3 db higher than the Rear Right...measured distances pretty accurately too...everything is set, will take more pics without the grills and some of the other stuff not pictured...

It is, but I do miss the vivid and crisp picture of the CRT. Not to mention the blacks and the colors. But then again, size matters too

Have you thought about calibrating your projector?
