Vote for Ps2 Kingdom Hearts and Harry Potter games on Ps4 - Blu-ray Forum

Found this interesting article on the Ps2 games Sony will consider allowing to be put on Ps4: http://www.gamepur.com/news/21505-so...y-says-we.html

Personally, I am hoping for all of the Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts games to be available on there, though for the latter I'd much prefer the Ps3 HD Remixes be available instead. Having the Ps2 versions get voted on may be a way to get them to consider it, plus even if they don't we have the next best thing to getting to actually play them on the Ps4. If anyone could please help me out by voting for some of my choices too it would be very much appreciated. I'd even help you guys vote for your choices as well [smile]

I swear to god, if you people vote for kingdom hearts I'll break something. Those games aren't hard to find in their original form, and THEY HAVE HD REMAKES FOR GODS SAKE. PLAY THAT!

I agree! I think a PS3 remaster would look better than an up-resed PS2 game.

I'd only vote to bring the HD ReMIXs to the PS4; No way I'd go back to the vanilla versions after Final Mix.

Would like to see:

Fatal Frame trilogy (needs to happen)
Okami (wouldn't be surprised)
Ico/Shadow of the Colossus (would be shocked if it doesn't show up around TLG's release)
Shadow of Destiny, Lifeline (won't happen b/c Konami)

And absolutely NO to anything with Kingdom Hearts in the title. No more games until KH3. Enough already. Stop it.

I wish they would come out with a remastered Atari Combat game in 1080p with the jaggies smoothed out a bit.

Personally I rather see some PS2 games which are not available in HD at all. Kingdom Hearts has some pretty interesting PS3 releases, but would like to have companies consider other titles which don't have something like that.

If we support the "vanilla games' release it may lead to Sony as well as other companies involved to eventually release the Hd Remixes as they will see how popular and therefore profitable the series could be for them

Yeah... You missed the point. There's already remixes released in HD. Just play those.

I personally feel that sony would get a better response to their PS2 library games if the just do them as total remakes/remasters for the PS4 instead of going this emulation route. People feel like they are getting nothing in return to play a somewhat decently looking game. Now if they invested in the game by adding more features and truly upscaling to PS4 quality I think people would be willing to pay the 19.99 - 29.99 for the remakes. I think Sony has shot themselves in the foot with this one. I can't see myself joining this party.

PS2 games don't need to look like they were made today, because their not. Just put the same game but in HD, add some trophies and call it a day. No need to go overboard by trying to make it into a 2015 game.

Yes but there is still the Harry Potter games and if one wanted to do playthorughs of the remixes they would not have to worry about bypassing the hdcp. Plus it gives people like me more value towards getting a ps4 rather than just getting it for 2.8 and KHIII

I honestly hope that the full Kingdom Hearts Collection and Metal Gear saga are released in HD on PS4 because I honestly don't want to keep holding on to this PS3.

If I could bring some PS2 games over, I'd pick Freedom Fighters and Psi-Ops although those are unlikely. I dont even know who holds the rights to them anymore
