I just got the Hong Kong Blu-ray. Good quality video and audio. English subs a bunch of mistakes and mispellings but nothing that bad. The movie is, however, just as expected - someone forgot to polish the screenplay. When making a movie, there should be an interesting aspect to a story. If you ask me that for this film, then I have nothing to say. The nicest thing I can say about the movie that it's sort of a cross between Chinatown and Heat, but not even close to being as good as them. 4 main action scenes (nothing amazing) and in between those action scenes, the main characters are asking questions away like in Chinatown to a subject I have no understanding of nor any interest in. The greatest strength in the film is only the chemistry among the main girl's team. It's as forgettable as Ghost in the Shell 2. I was ready to stop watching the film after 35 minutes but forced my way through it. What a shame. The only awesome element in the film is a mini red battle tank robot on the team with a voice of a Japanese school girl! 6/10 Last edited by toddly6666; 11-11-2015 at 06:44 AM. |
