United Kingdom The Omen Trilogy (UK) Question

Does anyone knows if the UK Omen trilogy is region free? Amazon UK has it listed as region B locked, but often times it's incorrect.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omen-Trilogy...6096640&sr=1-1

Blu-ray.com, has listed The Omen UK, as region free, but I tend to believe Amazon UK is correct! If The Omen Trilogy was Region Free, it will state:" [Region Free] after the title. Here's an example for The Batman Anthology:

Incorrect. The set is ABC. It's not wise to trust amazon over blu-ray.com.

Awesome thanks!...I rather buy this set instead of the US collection which has a lame packaging.

Only dealbreaker with UK set is for me was no original mono sound only remixed Dts-Hd Master 5.1. Us set has both.

Glad to hear the UK set is region free! I've wanted this set for awhile, but was turned off by the reviews of the US packaging.

Only thing is the UK set does not have the remake, the US set does....but for me, I don't really care for the remake .

I haven't seen the remake yet. I'd prefer that it be seperate from the set anyway.

What's wrong with the US packaging? Is it a fold-out digipak like it seems to be in the photo on Amazon US, or something else?

(Edit: It's OK, I found my answer in the review on this site. Missed it on my first scan through.)

I'm not fussed about the remake either (which I thought was largely paint-by-numbers), so I'll probably go with the UK set. We've got the same pack as the UK coming out here in OZ in October, but more pricey than the UK one. And if you thought the UK's ratings logos spoil the cover, cop this:

I imported Mrs Doubtfire from Oz earlier this year and was surprised at the size of your ratings labels.
I printed off a custom cover to replace it.

From this thread:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=63840

"I have the UK set. It contains the following extras:

The Omen
Audio Commentary by Richard Donner (director) and Brian Helgeland (screenwriter)
Isolated Music Score
Richard Donner on The Omen
The Omen Revelations (A BonusView Trivia Track)
Introduction to the film by Richard Donner
Deleted "Dog Attack" scene
Documentary: 666: The Omen Revealed
Screenwriter's Notebook
An Appreciation: Wes Craven
Documentary: The Omen legacy
Curse or Coincidence?
Jerry Goldsmith on The Omen score
Theatrical Trailer
Stills Gallery

Damien: Omen II
Commentary by Harvey Bernhard (producer)
Trailer

Omen III: The Final Conflict
Commentary by Graham Baker (director)
Trailer

So the first film misses out on two of the three audio tracks on the US release - including the one by a group of film historians that the blu-ray.com review says is the pick of the bunch. Otherwise, they seem to be identical to the US releases (though of course the US set also includes the Van Sant-ish remake of the first film).
