Maybe it's just because I'm gay, but I think it sounds really good. A nice, fresh, timely concept and a good one to boot. Nice cast too.

Along with Meester the film will also star Community‘s Gillian Jacobs as the other female lead, Adam Brody, and Gabourey Sidibe.

Forgive the thread title. I wanted something to grab attention.

I accidentally read "Steven Spielberg to Direct Bradley Cooper in 'American Sniper'" and "Leighton Meester To Play Lesbian in "Life Partners"" together which read: Steven Spielberg to Direct Bradley Cooper in "Life Partners"

And I was like "Hm...Cooper playing a gay man? Could be interesting."

But this sounds pretty decent as well.

Really cute movie. Meester and Jacobs were great together (though I kept absentmindedly imagining Kristen Bell in Jacobs' role because that was who was initially cast - and because of my bias I think it would have been even better with her

). Just a sweet, funny, charming movie. Highly enjoyed it.

8/10 (B+ or A-, haven't decided)
