Did anyone catch it in theaters or VOD?

Watched it on vudu and it is pretty bad. The 3d is pretty good with depth and pop outs. I wouldn't buy it personally.

I thought the first one was kind of a fun movie despite the awful looking 3D. But let me guess. This one will have good 3D but the movie will be awful?

I really liked the first one and I had no issues with the 3D. So I got this one on Direct TV PPV and its terrible. I already had really low expectations and it still stunk. There is some decent 3D but not nearly enough to make this worth buying.

That was a quick home release.

I had seen it on PPV and I don't believe it's worth the buy (and I own the first one).

Even though I hate Hasseljerk with a passion(believe me if you ever met the arrogant s.o.b. you would as well). I will still have this movie in my library, because there are enough hot naked girls in 3D to make it worth owning.

I think the first is pretty goofy fun, very harmless and they really push the 3D which I like. And good stuff as well for a conversion.

But I am not sure how this sounds different.. It is isnt it? How does it differ from the one from a year or 2 ago? Bit confused here..lol

Okay, I'm gonna be the oddball. I actually like this one better than the first. The first was pretty good, but it just wasn't very entertaining to me. This one started out pretty dull, but once David Hasselhoff came into the picture, he stole the show. Almost everything he did had me laughing, and because of that, this one gets the slight edge over the first. I haven't watched it in 3D yet so I can't comment on that.

Neither of the movies are what I would watch on a regular basis, but if I had to choose, I think this one is at least funnier.

Ving Rhames rocks a Rose McGowan leg gun, blatant rip off from Rodriguez's Planet Terror. tisk tisk Gulager, shame on you.

I wonder if Gary Busey's grill pops out of the screen lol.

At least there is lots of eye candy...

See I'm the total opposite. Thought the first one was garbage and this was hilarious. I guess it's because I watched the first one with slightly more conservative people who weren't too crazy on it either, while with the second one, I watched it with a group of people who were having an absolute blast with it. Much more enjoyable watch.

The two were pretty different in tone though, the first one seemed to take itself slightly more seriously (if that's even possible) than this one... this one was flat out parody/comedy.

After the premiere at the chinese 6 Buesey had the projectionist replay his scene after everyone left.

Yeah, I met him him in 1988, with his son Jake. He was very down-to-earth, friendly - an overall nice guy.

Some liked the 3D, others didn't think it was worthwhile. I read it was filmed in 3D compared to the first one being converted.

Christopher Lloyd is in this one. I wonder how big of a role he plays. Probably just a short cameo. He was good as Doc in Back to the Future as I mentioned in another thread.

So BAIT 3D sounds like the 3D is stronger than Piranha 3DD.

From what I remember on viewing both on vudu I'd say they are pretty close to each other but give the nod to piranha 3dd

Grrrrr....

made the mistake of getting this rather sad movie (although the 3d isnt too bad)....and my decision was made even worse by the fact that at 23.51mins into the movie it locks my Sony player completely...the only way around it is to power-down the player and restart....if I skip past that point I can watch the movie.......being that I imported from the UK it's just not worth the effort of returning it (too costly) Written off!

Anyone else had any compatibility issues with this title?
