Blu-ray Samurai

My bedroom is in the attic, where I also keep all my Blu-rays. On a day like this, my room becomes a sauna. I was wondering does this heat have any negative effects on the blu-ray discs? Most of them are on shelves but a few have been set aside on the floor due to shortage of space, I touched the blu-ray on the top of the floor pile and it was quite hot, is the case designed to protect the discs provided they're kept out of direct sunlight?
