Default Should I replace my old AV amp?

I'm currently using a Denon AVC-A11SR (US model 4802) in conjunction with a NAD 218THX powering my front stereo pair. I have a Sony BDP-S760 connected via its 6ch-out for HD audio.

I'm debating whether to upgrade my blu-ray player to say an Oppo or replace the Denon to something more modern so I can take advantage of newer sound processing and room EQ/measurement.

Any advice on which path to do down would be greatly appreciated. I love my Denon, but I'm wondering if I'm missing out on better movie sound from the newer amps with their more advanced room setup and HD processing.

My 5.1 speaker system comprises of:
B&W 804S fronts
B&W LCR6 S2 centre
B&W 602 S2 rears
B&W ASW3000 subwoofer

Thanks!
