With the Star Wars franchise in his rear-view, Adam Driver is continuing to build out his future slate projects as the Oscar-nominee is set to star in Sony’s 65. A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck & Bryan Woods will write and direct.

The duo will produce under their newly formed Beck/Woods banner along with Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi, who will produce for Raimi Productions along with Debbie Liebling.

Plot details for the original story are being kept under wraps. It is unknown when this film will go into production as Driver has a handful of pics to choose from after he finishes shooting Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel. That film just restarted production after it was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even after that finishes, Driver has a handful of films to choose from including Scott’s Gucci, which he recently signed on to co-star opposite Lady Gaga. •••

It's a tinge weird to see the writers of the first A Quiet Place film get a $90 million budget after doing a film a cheap as Haunt. I didn't think Adam Driver could get a budget like that but I guess so. Guess Star Wars really helped his star.

It's Back & Woods first major studio picture with nearly a $100 million budget. Their last film was Haunt at a paltry $5 million (by comparison).

I'm sure they're figuring out how this film flows and they need to make some proper adjustments to it.

Uhm... why not? Are they off-limits in cinema now?

This looks promising, but in this day and age this is going to happen, unfortunately, since there is no Marvel, Star Wars, Jurassic Park/World brand attached:

- people will ignore it
- people will ***** about how dumb it looks (but would've swallowed it up, had it had one of the above mentioned brands attached to it)

A Dinosaur movie with only two human characters in it and with the other being a child, I'm willing to bet no one is going to get eaten in this movie, there by making this movie an entire waist of time.
