Default Bogart - More Bogart! - Damn, where's Bogart!

We need more Bogart! Anybody privy to any information about his MIA films? I have heard rumors of Warner putting out more, possibly something like a Bogart and Bacall box set, but again....just rumors that may be rather old. Is there any new "up to date" information out there? There was a report last December from another website's forum from someone who claimed to have heard that Warner has no plans to bother putting The Big Sleep out on Blu-ray. Then there was a report back in July of last year from Akijama, forwarding a WB/WAC Facebook page post stating it was coming......

These......Where are these? When are we gonna get these? This year? Next year? Ever?

The Big Sleep
Key Largo
To Have And Have Not
Dark Passage

I'm with you on that. Even prior to recently acquiring Blu-ray, my Bogart collection is about 50 films strong, even if some of his performances in such aren't (I could never buy him with an Irish or Mexican accent! But did always get a kick out of "The Return Of Dr. X!").

I just bought some Blu-rays, and have Maltese Falcon, Casablanca (70th ann. set), Petrified Forest, and The African Queen. Yep, I can see seek out Treasure...when the credit card cools off The titles you mention are all essential; I have them on standard DVD, and those are still very watchable.

Ahem...now a plug for Bogie's Santana Productions. You're aware his son, Stephen was part of the resurrection of the company, and "This Last Lonely Place" was released last year. An excellent film noir, originally only available as a download, now available on DVD (not sure about Blu-ray). I think Bogie would dig that movie
