Quite enjoyed it, but I doubt I'll ever be a big enough fan to want to own it in a steelbook.

I'll keep my 2 disc DVD with all the extras!

One of my favorite movies of all time, but I'm not really feeling the cover art. I just want a proper US release. That would be amazing.

I remember reading that the UK Blu-Ray of Brick was 1080i and 25fps; is this likely to be the same disc?

Yes, it is likely to be the EXACT same disc. Not a fan of the art-work so this is an easy pass for me.

The Canadian edition has a much higher bit-rate encode than the UK and is in 1080p 24 fps properly so it's the one to get. It's missing the extras on the Blu-ray disc itself but the combo edition comes with a DVD that includes those features.

Again (I say this a lot) Specs do not make a disc, it is fine and a huge upgrade on the DVD

1080i isn't a deal-breaker for me, but if the movie is sped-up from the wrong frame-rate then that's a definite no.

It is not noticeable in practice and the audio (I am pretty sure is the correct pitch)

Mine arrived yesterday and the box looked like it had been thrown down a well and some giant well monster stepped all over it. Yes, I was worried as I pulled the steel out of the mess called a box.
Steel is perfect but, I have not opened it yet so keeping my fingers crossed

Phew, thank God for this release. Was worried as Zavvi haven't announced an old poor £5 amaray release in a steelbook, at 3 times the cost for at least 2 days.

21 Jump Street showed up today & that shipped a week later, so there's no reason it shouldn't be here, bar it getting lost in the post.
