Default iPhone in Canada

I've heard that iPhone is to be launched by Rogers Communications in January 2008.

Anyone else heard/confirm that?

My wife works for Rogers... she hasn't heard anything about it, and you could consider her an insider

Anyway one of the problems is someone else (Comwave?) owns the rights to the name 'iPhone' in Canada.. I think it's some kind of VoIP product.

The other problem is that Rogers is the only carrier with a network that can handle the iPhone so they were holding out on Apple to get a better deal.

There was a picture of a brochure/leaflet with iPhone. It had a release date of January 18th, I think.

But it could be a fake. Though I believe Rogers is the one who will be carrying iPhone.

(ugh... Rogers suck)

Well he's not boosting his salary levels despite the huge rise of the dollar...

Seriously... for the amount the dollar has gone up they could have signed A-Rod!! Then our shortstop problem would be solved. The Yankees would have been weakened and we'd have possibly the best lineup in the league. All it would have taken is a large application of money.
