Default Songs that can make you cry

Songs that just force tears out. They clear your mind of everything, and either bring you to the best, or worst time of your life.

Here's mine.
Mat Kearney - All I Need

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQG-O...rom=PL&index=6

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

None.

The one that comes closest, largely for sentimental reasons, is probably Strong Enough, by Sheryl Crow.

This one is a great song and makes me think about my grandfather who was a soldier. If you know somebody who was a soldier at any point.

It's weird to think that came out a few months before 9/11.

Amazing Grace - It seems to be played at every funeral I go to, so now hearing it any time will bring me back to some of those painful moments.

I cried once when For Whom The Bell Tolls came on the radio, I had just found out my dad had a heart attack.

It will vary; certain metal, rock, pop, classical, and even techno songs have enthralled me before, but they loose their touch over time. I think it's because most of the time I'm looking for music that's going to inspire me to write.

Songs that currently make me cry or feel like crying are:

"Chasing the Dragon" by Epica (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFwHTNETEGs)

"Let It Die" by the Foo Fighters (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63NiS...om=PL&index=32)

"Beautiful World" by Rage Against the Machine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kxokD3HS3o)

"The Esctasy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone, from "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV0wPBYDQ6Y)

"Lux Aeterna" by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet, from "Requiem for a Dream" (heck, the whole soundtrack is tear-jerking!) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKLpJtvzlEI)

I think these songs will always freak me out though (and some of the youtube videos on this one make it even freakier!):

"At the Heart of it All" by NIN (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oguWC...om=PL&index=55)

"Erased, Over, Out," by NIN (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1CkQ...eature=related)

"With Arms Wide Open" from Creed. Played that when I found out my wife was pregnant. Made her cry, which made me tear up.

Thought of another one (it's the remixed version; I'll have to find the original some day):

"Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair" by Nina Simone, Jaffa Remix(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjnBk...om=PL&index=10)

Miley does have an emotional song or two.

Book of Love by Peter Gabriel made me cry a little during the Scrubs finale.
