Does it have Smart Software on it? I don't have the LG bluray player, however if it runs the same software as their tv's its been the most universal player I have ever tried.

Plays everything that I through at it while being able to turn off srt files for viewing on the tv. Im doing research on which lg bluray. I assume it has the same exact software.

Figured I'd bump this since I have a question regarding this player:

I ordered this player from Bombay Electronics (region free), and I've been trying to get the audio to come through from my soundbar (Sony ht-ct370), but so far no luck. My TV has two HDMI outlets, and I've tried connecting the player to one and the soundbar to the other one, and while the picture works the sound does not. I even tried connection the player to the soundbar, and that made it so that the sound worked but the picture did not. Am I doing something wrong here? Or should I buy some sort of converter?

And your TV and soundbar are??????

Cause every single TV and soundbar ever made obviously have the very same exact connections.......

My soundbar is a Sony HT-CT370

My TV is a Phillips 42pfl5332d/37

And my Blu-ray player is an LG BP325W

My PS4 was easy to hook up to the soundbar, but I'm having trouble with the BP325W.

The soundbar has 3 HDMI inputs.

Totally do not understand your problem with the BD player.

What HDMI input on the soundbar is the PS4 connected to?

Boy, I'm dumb. I plugged the Blu-ray player into the soundbar and plugged the soundbar into the TV. Worked like a charm!

Don't feel too bad...

I asked the PS4 question knowing full well you didn't hook it up that way...

Also doesn't help when the CE companies try to help by "over labelling"...

The BD player HDMI doesn't need "to TV".
