Default Alien: The Adora Files.

An upcoming Alien fanfilm project by Felix Berner.

The film is being done in a similar vein Alex Popov’s AvP Redemption where the live action elements are filmed in front of a green screen that will be replaced with photorealistic CGI. The actors and the Alien itself will be physical elements.

Felix Berner describes the project as:

“We are creating right now this amazing and expensive high quality ALIEN homage, which takes place in the Alien universe between Alien, Alien Isolation and Aliens, but with a complete new setting and a new “evil and corrupt” company called TYRAN INDUSTRIES. The film is a tribute to all the ALIEN movies and will be published as traditional homage.”

The film will be around 3-5 minutes long and also stars some members of the Aliens community as background extras. Working Joes will also make an appearance!

This is due to release towards the end of March/April.

If you head over to their Facebook page you can check out some of the earlier test footage and various photos from the project.

It looks wicked, but how do I make the screen bigger?

As a diehard lover of the Alien franchise, I must say, sadly, that's 15 minutes of my life that I can never get back.

The word cheese comes to mind, or velveeta, or better yet cheese-wiz!

Not trolling, just my opinion... FOX studios and the rock band KISS clearly don't know when to stop while you're still on top. The train wreck called AVP ruined the whole franchise. Now they're doing another with Sigourney Weaver. Uggh.

On a slightly different note, I can't wait to see the new Star Wars movie with the original cast. Instead of light Sabres, they'll be swinging their walking canes during fight scenes. How menacing will Darth Vader be rolling around in a wheelchair. Spoiler Alert! The final scene has the gang luring Vader into the millennium falcon and as soon as they get high enough in space, they open the bay door and wheel him off of it!

AVP actually is a fun movie. AVP-R on the other hand is what really killed the Alien franchise.

I've never really considered those "part of the franchise." The AVP series more or less stands alone as it's own franchise. I wouldn't mind another one.
