This film always reminds me of Roger Ebert who absolutely slaughtered it on the week of release and then included it in his conversation of the year's best films. Critics can change their minds, of course, but he went from thinking it was a joke to loving it in a few months.

Hi All,
Just started to play my copy of 'Indochine' and thought I would watch the documentary first- alas, No english Subtitles! I've scrabbled around with my player and I can get english Subtitles on the film itself but none on the documentary-surely this is a mistake? |

Assuming you did that, what player are you using? On all players that I'm aware of, the remote should have a button marked 'Options' or 'Display' (or something equivalent) and one of the options should cover selection of available subtitles. The disc definitely has English subtitles available on the documentary. |
