GANGSTA. from Bandai Visual with English subtitles

Bandai Visual will release the TV series of GANGSTA. (2015-) on Blu-ray in Japan beginning September 25th, 2015. There will be six two episode volumes, available individually, and a boxed set (linked above) which will be released on February 24th, 2016.

All discs are specified as BD-50, with Japanese: LPCM 2.0 audio, and optional English and Japanese subtitles. The official web site listing is here.

It's a pretty good show from the first episode that I saw. A definite break from High School Rom-coms and moe. Almost scared of what the cost is going to be to import.

I want to watch some of this online, to see what it is like - if it is fairly serious and straight-forward, without a lot of stupidness or silly comedy, I would consider importing it just to have in my JP collection. The goofy looks of the characters on the JP box is what's holding me back - and it was the exact same issue with the Terraformars Box - makes it look like it's just some corny or odd-ball series.

Anyone watch Terraformars the entire way through? Was it a decent series or not? I only had a chance to watch a few episodes.

It's pretty violent and, while nothing really graphic, implied sex, with one of the characters being a prostitute. Interestingly, another character is deaf and there is a fair bit of sign language. I have no idea if it is authentic sign language,

This has one of the most bland and uninspiring backdrops I can remember seeing in an Anime. I'd go as far as to say it's one of the ugliest shows in a while, along side KoS.

But it has plenty of tits and murdering, that's edgy right.
