"On the issue that got us, we would inform you that we have the information that Worten stores will sell the game in question."

Right now the PlayStation 4 Grand Theft Auto V version remains in reserve in Worten site .

Worten page does not mention a release date, but the store SuperGamer Czech, who also is taking reservations for the PlayStation 4 release, along with the Xbox and PC versions One notes that the release date is June 13 this year .
I wonder if this is the PS4 exclusive that could be coming.

Doubtful.

99.9% chance not exclusive, but it would still be a big deal for a lot of people I guess (cf OPM UK).
Some people for that specific anouncement said "not a port" though, so we'll see.

I agree. It makes no sense to make it exclusive. I bet a lot of people double dip this.

I just want 1080p/60fps (shocked huh), I couldn't careless about textures being upgraded unless they can do that WITHOUT compromising 1080p/60fps.

Draw distance getting an upgrade would be nice.

What PS4 exclusive? Are you talking about the "big announcement"? That was never stated as an exclusive.

I hope the big announcement isn't GTA V on PS4. A next gen port isn't anything special IMO.

I mean it's good for people that like the game but as a big PS4 announcement it's kinda tame.

If this is what the "next gen" is going to be about (porting last gen games over), then this will be one of the worst gens in gaming history.

Hey, I'd be ALL FOR a souped up GTAV on PS4! I never bought the PS3 version so this is perfect! Just like with Tomb Raider Special Edition! Bring it on I say! I'll take The Last of Us HD remix while we're at it!

I refused to buy GTA V on PS3 due to the PS4 launching so close and I was not going to double dip so if it releases on the PS4 then I will pick it up.

I played the hell out of GTA V on the 360, yet I'd still love to have it on the PS4. Even if it's just GTA Online, that would be awesome.

Whereas I enjoyed GTA, I would only bite if it was cheap as chips.

I have no issues with ports, they fill the gap between the releases we want and deserve.

I don't know if it's true or not, but they are using the same fake image that was used on one the Amazons last year, the one with the xbox HDD logo on te bottom cornor and the 1080p logo that's been used on no game cover ever.

We're hearing more of games from last gen being brought to this gen than we are hearing of new games.

That didn't happen until years after the PS3 came out not 3 months after it's launch.

It's going to be hard letting go of a 160m install base, but also hard not being tempted by doing ports after seeing good sales from PS2 ->PS3 HD ports on big franchises (and more recently with titles such as Tomb Raider).

OTOH Sony just announced 6m sales for the PS4, and the XB1 (at least around launch) has also broken records in sales. Those elements will eventually play in favor of next gen only titles.

To be fair, there were a lot of cross gen games, or ports as you call hem at the start of the last gen.

It's just something studios do at the start to cash in on a new audiance to make an extra buck from a game that's sales dried up months ago.

As soon as we get past GDC this month, we'll start hearing about a lot of new and exciting next gen only games that'll be coming out next year.

Nope.

You didn't see a game that was released at the end of the PS2 era show up on the PS3 within the 1 year of the console's release (like how TR was released on the PS3/360 and less than a year later show up on the PS4/XB, and I'm not talking about game that were released on PS4/XB1 launch day like ACIV/BF4/COD.
