I have seen a few sellers on the forum selling digital copy codes for Band of Brothers. Does anyone know where they are coming from? I messaged few sellers without response. Are they gaming HBO or is there a new Bluray release out there?

Anyone have more info? Haven't been able to find a line or anything else showing a version that came with a digital copy. The BD copy is on sale cheap everywhere right now, but I'd really like a digital copy or hold out for one if it's going to be available soon. Checked HBO's site and couldn't find anything but the standard BD copy. Any help is appreciated.

HBO is fully behind Digital Hd, and they do it right. People who like iTunes get their way and everyone else gets their way too. And people still get their boys! Wouldn't doubt seeing HBO release all their titles again with digital HD in the next year or so

So can someone please explain how someone can't rip another person off with Walmart purchases especially on these big TV sets at Walmart.
Doesn't Walmart have instawatch? Can't someone technically buy band of brothers, scan their receipt, unlock the vudu code on their account, and sell off the vudu code inside the set? Or better yet, can't they just turn around and return the set and they would still have the vudu code from scanning their receipt? |

Okay good, so there's no cheating the system then.
I think the only thing people can do is buy the movie. Scan the receipt so it's in their collection and then turn around and sell the included code online. Not too bad I guess for someone to go through the trouble. |

In terms of movies a quick search at walmart shows the most expensive IW eligible title is the Harry Potter movie set at $170. People would be crazy to pay that price to try to "work" the IW system. Maybe the Fast and Furious, Twilight or Leprechaun sets, but the profit wouldn't really be much so unless you were already planning to buy the sets it would probably be more effort than it's worth. |
