Does 59 million dollars worth of people really want a Ted sequel, sure the first one was a hit three years ago but no one really seems to care now.

I thought the trailers were funny...and then I saw the movie.

A Million Ways to Die in the West was actually even worse.

I hope Ted 2 bombs spectacularly.

Mmm why? For someone who creates this type of threads all the time, it shows you would care about the films outcome, no? Otherwise, you just wouldn't be doing these threads and you could care less.

Anyhow, the first Ted was quite a successful hit. The second could go either or.

everybody should go see Max. See Ted later.

Max won't just be a good film, but an important film.

Both Ted 2 and Max have a trailer attached to Jurassic World (at most theaters anyway) so that will be great exposure for both. Unfortunately for Max competition for families is pretty big with Jurassic World and Inside Out. Still thinking it can do solid business though. Dolphin Tale numbers perhaps. Looks highly enjoyable so I hope it does well. I plan on seeing it next weekend.

TED 2 - 60.375 MILLION
MAX - 19.44 MILLION

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Max broke out a little into the low 20's. The only thing that makes me think it won't is the competition for family audiences.

Early prediction for Max from me ...$12 million for the weekend. It will be an interesting three way battle between Ted 2, JW, and Inside Out.

JW $52 million

Ted cost $50M to make but took 11 times that worldwide. Do you really need to ask why they're doing a sequel?

Ted 2's biggest success will likely be in Japan. The first was huge there.

Max looks terrible and I love dog movies.
Ted looks great. I say Ted 2 does 43.7 million.
Max does $10.5 million at best .

I think Jurassic world and inside out will top Ted 2 still
