The tougher threat to the Justice League would be from the X-Men. The mutants have a couple of cosmic-level characters that would make things difficult.

Batman does have a file on the Avengers, if you know what I mean.

Few characters are as ridiculously overpowered as Superman, so I'm going with Justice League.

Not even close. Flash is more dangerous than Supes.

If it's:

Avengers: Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye

Justice League: Superman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern

Then JL wins. Thor and Hulk would be the last Avengers standing, but there is just too much firepower on that JL team.

Yeah I think people overestimate the Avengers because of the movies but one of the reasons I took SO long to come around on the Justice League is so many members are just so overpowered.

It really depends on the rosters of both teams. Thor + Scarlet Witch could really mess with the JL (and both being magic, could take down Superman). I agree that Flash is probably one of the bigger JL threats, though. Iron Man and Batman are the wild cards as they can 'think' their way out of things.

I think having Batman on your team is more valuable than having Superman but I still think The Avengers have more depth. I'll have to see DC's shared universe starting with Dawn of Justice before I can compare the movie rosters. I know Kurt Busiek George Perez did an Avengers/JLA crossover in the comic books but I never got around to reading them.
