Dang it. I was hoping there wasn't going to be any special versions of this film released. Depending on the artwork and final disc specs I may end up picking this up. I didn't love the movie but I didn't out right hate it either. There were even a few scenes that I thought were pretty cool.

If they make it out of solid gold and sell it for $1 then it would provide me with a reason to actually buy it...

I don't care how cool the steelbook looks. This is only half of a good movie, and knowing it doesn't go anywhere after "One Year Later" is incentive enough for me to never watch this ever again.

Ugh I know. I'm not that pleased with myself for being interested in this and considering a purchase. It's going to come down to how it looks and what the price on release day is.

I don't even want to support it. I guess I could buy it and then replace it with the good on (2005) haha.

As long as the cast isn't on the back. I'd even throw away the j-card.

Babylon A.D. was another 20th Century Fox movie where the director was ousted during the editing process and scenes were shot without him. It tanked worldwide, but when it came to do the Blu-ray, they threw on the director's original cut despite him trashing them. My fingers remain crossed that this is what will happen here: to try and generate some interest in the Blu-ray, and since the controversy was hardly a secret, they might as well go "make up your own mind!"

I just saw this movie yesterday and I really enjoyed it up until "One Year Later", and even after that I didn't hate it, even though it became very uneven and clunky. If the Blu-ray contains the OG cut I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I don't think this was shot in 3D so only a standard Bluray plus Digital HD release & there won't be a combo pack with both the Bluray & DVD being released together.
