Well, its disappeared from Amazon.com but I'd be surprised if the UK gets it if there is no US edition. Maybe its just dawned on the marketing geniuses that it has a Christmas setting so a pre-Christmas release might sell more copies, in which case it won't be out for a year. I'll email Movietyme, see if they've heard anything

Now slipped to March 7 on Amazon and Play. The US edition seems to have vanished, Movietyme have been told is postponed indefinitely. I reckon it'll probably show up next Christmas, I just hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as the Yule Love It Edition DVD of Scrooged

That review, much like that site, is laughable.
The basic disc specs are completely wrong for a start. It's on a BD-50 and,(IMO), is one of Warner's strongest back catalogue titles for a while, much like Renny Harlin's other movie, Deep Blue Sea. Some 'reviewers' need to learn about how certain films were shot, before talking pish. Last edited by Sky_Captain; 04-01-2011 at 10:38 PM. |

DVD Compare claims it, personally I don't know. Difficult to find any confirmation of this online. Read the review of the Swedish BD on a Swedish forum and now I don't want to break the seal on my copy hoping I can sell it off.

The question would be, does it run for 120mins?
The US version is also 120mins. http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...or=1#topoftabs The scene didn't appear in the US New Line DVD release either. If all versions are the same on BD, no point returning it. At the minute, all signs point to it not being in any version, except TV showings. Last edited by Sky_Captain; 04-02-2011 at 01:49 AM. |

If this was ever cut it should appear @ http://www.bbfc.co.uk/search?searchw...Kiss+Goodnight
That's assuming it wasn't pre-cut by the distributor. That should be obvious if it were if it had some animals being hurt (OK to eat them though), lock picking (now acceptable) or ninja mo-fo killing techiques (now acceptable but not in the soap-powder aisle of ASDA obviously). |

I've done the number checking and the run time of the UK DVD is reported as 115:35 which matches quite well with the 120:33 runtime of the BD adjusting for the PAL speed-up of the UK DVD. Now, the Australian DVD is reportedly 116:45 so naturally this is cause to investigate it further.

The DVDcompare listing seems to imply the scene was present in all DVD versions except the UK but its not in the US New Line. There is a French Blu from Metropolitan http://www.amazon.fr/Au-revoir-Ã*-ja...1737117&sr=1-1 but I don't know if its any different. Have you tried asking in the US section of the forum to see if the scene is present on the US blu? It should be between the shot of the girl in the tanker tool box cage thing and Charlie pointing the gun at the driver (about 1h39m57s on the US DVD)
