Default Pick one film that best represents your life.

I thought is would be fun to try and connect a film with some aspect of your life. I see my life in so many films but I want to see if we could narrow it down to just one.

Include an explanation as to why this film best represents a certain aspect of your life. This film doesn't have to be a complete representation of your life. Maybe a character has similar traits that you have. Maybe you work in a similar type of job as one of the characters. Maybe your love life is represented well in a film.

Be creative.

If I were to pick one I guess I would go with The Do-Deca-Pentathlon (2012). It's not even one of my favorite films but it does a good job of representing the competition that I've always had with my younger brother. We have lived in different states for 6 years but every time we are together we still find a way to create weird games so that we can compete with each other. Last time he was in town we took my kids to the park. We created a game in which someone tossed a football across the playground while two people swung in swings. One person was the defender and the other was the receiver. We developed a point system for knockdowns, interceptions, and catches. Growing up we created all types of strange tournaments with elaborate point systems just to compete. Be both never back down and find it hard to play games or sports with others who don't share our same intensity. We have done this type of thing our whole lives and this film just reminds me of our relationship in many ways.
