my friend is looking to buy his first blu-ray player <ps3 hes a gamer and wants the ps3 blu-ray> and he only has about 1500 - 2000 to spend . he would like a 1080p lcd as close to a 50 inch . what would be good for that

try this sony 1080p lcd projection Sony 46" Bravia LCD Rear Projection
HDTV - KDF-46E3000. I think the average price is about 1200 for the price it almost makes me want to take my 47" back.

Does he NEED an lcd, you can get a 55" sony a3000 for $1999

Why not get the Sony LCD deal where you get the installation and ps3 for free. I think its the sony kdl46v2500. Best Buy is running this promotion
