Am I looking in the wrong places (shops) or is there a serious lack of Dutch subtitled 4k releases? There are so many movies that are released on 1080p blu ray in the Netherlands with Dutch subtitles, but are only available for import without Dutch subtitles. Examples: Lawrence of Arabia, the last dual, the last emperor etc.
Does anyone know the reason behind this? I mean, they already made the Dutch subtitles anyway for the 1080p release (and the dvd). What is the point of not including them on the 4k discs? Even if they are not officially released in the Netherlands (again: why release the 1080p blu-ray but not the 4k?) distributors must know people / shops will import them. This is 2024, not 1988. We can shop online. |
