Default How do you add pictures to a post

Anyone care to explain how to add pics of movies and such to your posts? I tried this a couple years back and couldn't get it to work. I think my files were either to big or something and I got frustrated and just gave up. Im not a newbie here but when it comes to pics I'm just plain stupid I guess. I have a Digital camera and I have a LG G3 smartphone. It's time I learn how to do this lol. It would be greatly appreciated and I will even post you a positive feedback for the help.

The pics of the movies themselves is best done by typing in the name of that Blu-ray into the search bar,at the end of the URL bar there will be a number, for instance, the U.S. release of Captain Phillips is 79073,always have the flag set to the appropriate release.

When you put that number into your post, scroll across it with your mouse to highlight it and click on the [BD] tag,you will find this in the options above your post, that will then put that particular movie in your post plus it will then link you to that release.

I hope I explained that well enough,if not I will try and help you further if need be.....give it a try and see.

Ahh sorry about that, well how I get those kind of pics on here is either transfer them from my camera to my computer or if they are on my iphone,I email them to myself and download them from there.

Once they are on the computer I click on the "paperclip" above and "choose file" then "upload"
As you say size can sometimes be an issue and I have had to use Photobucket site to change them but more times than enough they have been fine and that's how I do it.

There may be another way and hopefully someone else can help out if you need more assistance....good luck.

You can also upload your images to a file sharing site such as ImageBam, Imgur, Postimage, Tinypic, Imageshack, etc. Then you can post the BB-Code, Forum, or Direct URL links provided by those sites.

If you have pictures from an external site click the Insert Image icon in the Reply box, it's next to the Spoiler icon. If you're using Internet Explorer right-click the image and select Copy, then paste the link into Insert Image box. Google Chrome is Copy Image URL. Our site will re-size them for the browser and give you the option of seeing the full-size with a click of the banner.

The paper-clip add Attachments tab has a size limit, the Insert Image doesn't. Obviously be aware that if you insert a ridiculously sized picture put it under a Spoiler or guys with slower PCs and connections will be seriously put out!

Good question, OP.
I have successfully attached pics using the paperclip, but when I attach pics uploaded from another site (i.e. Photobucket) I get some quick window saying something to the effect that the administrator has to approve the attachment.
Been a couple of days waiting and nothing ever happened.

It's just about preference. I don't use an image host here, but on other sites I've been happy with Imgur.
