Default Why I won't go neutral.

It's not about money, rather shelf space. I love the PS3 because it's 1 device that does so many things. It's my PS1, PS2, PS3, DVD player, SACD player, Blu-ray player, mp3 player, occasional internet browser and sometimes video player for mp4 format videos.

If I bought an HD DVD player... EVEN at a low price, it's one device adding one function, HD dvd exclusive titles. To me that's crap. Now a 360 with HD dvd built in might entice me, since I'd get Xbox games, Xbox 360 games and HD dvd movies added but that will likely never happen.

For some people function is everything. My PS2 was my DVD player, that's partly why I bought it. I wanted a DVD player and that had a PS1 and PS2 as well. I only needed one device for my TV.

Microsoft and Toshiba, you're going to have to do better than a cheap 1080i player. You can sell it for 30 bucks, money won't be the issue, space will. Hell I sold off tons of my old DVDs since blu-ray because I no longer have space for them.
