This is the game that will save the Wii U, I can't wait to play as Little Mac. What are you guys most excited for in Smash?

Back in 2002-2004 we played Smash into the ground almost every weekend.

Those days are long gone, but I hope to have some fun with the new one. I'll try to get almost all the prizes for sure.

They do but its basically one on one with ai bots. The wii version had a small adventure mode, that I found to be some fun.

Played the original but never got into any of them. These games and Powerstone (for Dreamcast) never clicked with me.

That being said, you can pre-order the Amiibo at Amazon now for $12.99 each and if you register the 3ds and WiiU Smash Brothers you get a CD package for free. Only good in NA and EU.

Its going to be cool to see how the Amiibo interacts with the Wii U, I dont plan on getting a ton of them but I got to have the Mario one. Also, with Mario Kart 8 adding substantial DLC its interesting to see if Smash will get DLC as well.

I believe Amiibo are capable of having data written to them. I imagine for Smash theyll have an rpg lite type of stat system you can save to your figure and import on a friends system.

An Amazon product page that went live too soon has provided a first look at the previously announced $100 bundle that will include a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, a special-edition GameCube controller, and the adapter you'll need to make it work.

Got this pre-ordered for £40 (it's what the game alone costs usually).

I already have two GameCube controllers so I'm okay this pack doesn't come with one.

Edit: Nintendo of UK said the adapter will only work with Super Smash Bros. but that doesn't make sense (1 game only?!) so I'll wait till Nintendo of Japan, Nintendo of America or Nintendo of Europe make an official statement.

It was from Zavvi, they had it at £44.99 and I used a 10% discount which dropped to £40.49. Zavvi's increased it now to £47.99 but with a discount code it slashes the price to £44.

I won't say it's my "best deal ever" but it's close to it.

Btw, the game alone can be pre-ordered for £35.98 on Zavvi by using the WELCOME code (new accounts only). Glad I grabbed this deal because the Smash Bundle is going for £48-55 normally.

Never cared for these games but damn if I don't want all of the Amiibo. They recently announced a 2nd series of figures. My wallet is going to be sad considering I don't want to open any of them.

I hate dlc. ALL dlc... even the free kind. Sure, free is better than paying for it, but just put the content on the damn disc. Despite the fact that I have the 3DS version and will be getting the Wii U version as well, it still sucks on sheer principle.

Eh. Free DLC adds longevity. If everything was there day 1 you'd have little reason to return to a game later. I agree though that day 1 paid DLC is a sham and should never be tolerated.

I really wish I was into this series. There is so much to this game. It's pretty nuts.
