Does anyone here know if the German Lilyhammer sets have English subtitles (eg are a standard European release)?

They are stated not to have any subtitles at all. Just German and English audio.

Thanks. But I'm just checking for any actual firsthand info. Given so many European / Aus releases are the same masters.

This is released by different companies so unlikely they share disks. UK was Universal S1 (only DVD) and Arrow S2 and S3 (BD available) whereas Germany is Studio Canal.

I can comment on UK disks and these only have English subtitles during the spoken Norwegian, the English dialogue is not subtitled.
