Default SVS from a different vendor?

Has anyone purchased SVS items through either Amazon or Newegg? They have subs listed at the same price as SVS site. If so, how was the experience? Are they authorized dealers? Warranties etc available? I ask because I have credit accounts with both those outlets and can purchase on no interest promotions.
Thanks for any thoughts.

Check SVS web site. They have an extensive list of authorized dealers. If the company selling is listed on SVS, then you should be good to go.

Please remember that just because it is listed on NewEgg or Amazon that does not mean that they are selling them. Check to see who the actual seller is to make sure you cover yourself before you buy.

Thanks! Is it sad that I thought to check on this forum before checking with the seller?

The one's sold on Newegg are from One Call - who happens to be an approved eCommerce partner with SVS. Amazon is using Huppins (approved eCommerce) and IQ Home Entertainment (approved dealer). Amazon and Newegg are just fulfillment services for these products.

Before purchasing from a different vendor, just confirm that you'd get ALL of the bill of rights goodies.

I wonder if SVS still ships themselves, no matter what avenue used to purchase it.

No real reason to ship a subwoofer...twice.
