They just did this on an episode of How Did This Get Made? -- wonder if this is due to that in any way.

Terrible movie, but I'll absolutely buy a copy.

This is one of those movies that I recorded off the TV onto a VHS tape. Always liked it way more than I should

Hard to know. I don't think I've ever seen an interview with the filmmakers.

Never seen it but am a sucker for 90s cyberpunk. Looks fun. My dream release is still Arcade, but it seems unlikely and may not be true hd throughout the film. "Kiss reality goodbye."

I actually just came back to this thread now to ask the same thing. How long do titles generally stay in the coming soon section before seeing a listing? 30 days? 45 days? Just trying to plan ahead for when the listing might pop up as I don't check Roninflix often.

I think Hardware was in the coming soon section for a month or so.

Was it called JOBE'S WAR in Europe? The only subtitle ever used in North America was BEYOND CYBERSPACE.

It absolutely blows too. I bought the HDX streaming version for cheap a while back, couldn't believe how bad it was.

There's no real pattern, they just show up when they're ready to sell them.
IIRC Gates of Hell was in the coming soon section from December 2019 to June 2020.

Likewise, Sharks' Treasure was listed in the coming soon section a few weeks before Voyage into Space was, but Voyage into Space is already available for purchase while we're still waiting for Sharks' Treasure.

It switched to Jobe's War for the VHS release.

I'm not a greedy man, and that fact that this is even getting a release has me over the moon. But if I could day dream just a bit, this release would have:

- Fresh 2K scan.
- Reversible cover art with both the Jobe's War and Beyond Cyberspace subtitles.
- Interviews with Matt Frewer, Austin O'Brien and Farhad Mann.

That would do it for me.
