Default Mighty Morphin / Turbo: A Power Rangers' Movie Blu-rays

When these two movies get released, I want them to get a great treatment than a simple remastering with trailer. In the hands of someone who loves the show, these movies would get wonderful Blu-ray releases. As a huge fan, here's what I would do:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie

- Digitally remasterd transfer
- DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1
- Commentary
- The Morphing Grid: Select from two Picture-in-Picture tracks. Watch the movie with Pop-up factoids or a comparison with the MMPR Season 3 4-parter Ninja Quest.
- Back to the Command Centre: Brand-new documentary looking at the making of the movie with cast and crew.
- Mighty Morphin Revisited: Watch as the Power Rangers take you behind the scenes of their first movie. (TV special)
- Deleted Scenes
- Music Videos
- Trailers

Turbo: A Power Rangers' Movie

- Digitally Remastered transfer
- DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1
- Original theatrical version plus never-before-seen extended version.
- Commentary
- The Morphing Grid: Pop-up factoids while watching the movie.
- Shift into Turbo: Brand new documentary on the making of the movie.
- Trailers

Your forgot to add the original production featurettes from the DVDs.

While I'm not a Power Rangers fan (I'm more like an admirer from afar), I would love to see these in new CE Blus/DVDs. Shout!/Fox should consider doing this if not next year.

You know what be also cool, if the Turbo Blu included the first episodes of Power Rangers Turbo (Shift Into Turbo episodes) as additional extras/bonus episodes (albeit in SD).

Still waiting for these to get some attention. I would love to see some deleted scenes on the first film. Mainly any scenes that featured Mariska Hargitay, before she was replaced with Gabrielle Fitzpatrick. I'm not sure if they even film scenes with her, but I'm sure they did. I've seen the photos with Mariska, so I'm sure there's some clips.

I've been waiting for these since Blu-ray came into existence. The DVD for the first film is in dire need of a new transfer more, than Turbo IMO.

You'd think Saban and 20th Century Fox would have done something for the 20th year anniversary of the series. I'm sure Saban would have, since he struck a DVD deal with Shout! Factory. Maybe Fox didn't want to. Who knows? All I know is the fans want them.

I was thinking the same thing when the 20th Anniversary came along. I wonder if anyone involved with the film who are on Twitter could give fans an answer on whether or not a Blu-ray release could happen?

Not sure, never took the time to even bother looking at the people involved in the movie. Fans could always reach out to Saban. He is on Facebook and Twitter I do believe.

Now with Lionsgate and Saban making a new movie, maybe Fox will take action and put these two movies on Blu-ray, or at least license them to someone who will!

I know the dude who played Tommy has completely relished in his "fame" that the show has given him. It'd be sacrilege for him not to be involved if this project gets off the ground. Heck, I'd love it if they could get as many of the original cast members as possible to show up for some cameos. For the sake of argument, "original cast" can go up to "Zeo"

If it's going to be based on the Mighty Morphin era, I say just sick with the cast from the first 3 seasons, which would mean no Nakia Burrise. It would be cool to see them get all 9 of the MM cast back for some type of cameo. Would be nice to somehow see a tribute to Thuy/Trini, but doubt that will happen. I also hope they use Rita as the main villain, instead of bringing someone new in like they did with the first film.

maybe with the new movie in 2016, Fox will try to capitalize on it and finally release these to BD!
