Vegas Odds on When Blu Wins - Blu-ray Forum

If I were a bookie in Vegas, here are the lines that I would offer...and the respective odds...

Just after Christmas, by Jan 08...40-1
By end of first Q 08...30-1
By end of summer 08...15-1
By end of 3Q 08...8-1
By end of 2Q 08...0.66-1

My bet is on summer 08...

I do believe Warner is about to make the right decision.

All I can say is, I've bought 5 dvds in my lifetime...2 VHSs...Blu-ray has made me a collector because my senses have never been pleased more...

You know, I wonder if there is an actual line - I might have to find out.

There is a market on intrade for which format will win the nielsen numbers for 2007. Last I checked lots were selling for 98.5.
