Are we going to gloss over the fact that the back is a zoomed in version of the front?

Assuming the artwork turns out close to that mock up, it will be incredible!
Just stunning!

I was hoping the next Disney steel would have been Lilo & Stich. Never seen Treasure Planet, so it'll be a blind buy.

I put it in the category "Underrated Disney Classic", I'm glad it will released in steel!

Let's gloss over the whole Steel.

LITERALLY

This is pretty nice looking, Zavvster. I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Zavvi tends to announce about the Disney steels 3 or 4 at a time, so I wouldn't doubt it if we see that in the near future. I wouldn't mind it if they'd announce Lilo & Stich, Atlantis, or Rescuers Down Under.

Nice looking steel but if I'm honest I thought the film was terrible. Although it is slightly better than Atlantis: The Lost Empire which was dire.

Hmmm... Zavvi is calling this #35 in the Disney Collection, but it looks like it should be #37 to me. Is anyone aware of an official list for what is in "The Disney Collection?" I remember they never announced a 31, so Big Hero 6 seemed the logical choice to fit in that slot. And the recent Bedknobs and Broomsticks should be counted towards it, just like Mary Poppins had, right? I have B&B as my #36.

Anyway, not too important in the grand scheme of things, but I like to keep things organized (mostly so I don't let things slip through the cracks!). Cheers!

I know the UK and the U.S have differing numbering later in the animated collection. Maybe it's that.

I misunderstood as I thought you meant the Disney numbering but I don't think broomsticks or Mary poppins was counted as this was an Zavvi animated collection with some confusing titles added in. I have seen lists on HDN both with and without.

Either way - seeing as most have the Disney numbering on do you not keep them in the Disney ordering?

On the shelf, I keep my titles alphabetical. But the numbering I was referring to was what Zavvi used to give to their Disney & Pixar releases, in which Aladdin was #1, Jungle Book #2, etc. Mary Poppins was #15 in the run. Brother Bear at #34 was the last one to get a number in the description. The next one released was The Princess and the Frog, no number in the description.

In the end, I realize it is all pointless, but if you are going to start numbering a certain line of product, it's kind of lazy to just stop doing so (or not bother to check on your previous issues to see what number comes next). I just want my heirs to know they have a complete "official" set when the time comes! :-)

It's a nice idea but my eyes are automatically drawn to the numbers so I couldn't do it. As for the Zavvi numbering confusion - probably has a million different people not talking to each other doing it. After all it's how the rest of Zavvi / the hut group works.
