Inherent Vice - playback problems?

Anyone else having playback problems with Inherent Vice?



I have an Oppo 103AU, and for the past half an hour all I'm getting when trying to load this disc is 'Unknown Disc'. It'll sit there anywhere from 3 seconds to 3 minutes showing 'loading', then it'll show the 'Unknown Disc' text.

Tried changing regions. Turning it off then on, both with the disc in, and not, then reloading ... no change.

Been hanging to watch this flick. Got it from JB yesterday, and now I can't watch it

Nope. Played it on my Panasonic player, watched fine. Since reading your post I tried on my other players, for about 20 minutes each. No problems. Maybe try updating your firmware? Or maybe a laser issue on the drive?

I had tried it again a few days later.

The disc loaded, but when the film played it was jumpy and stalled after 20 minutes.

Just tried it again. "Unknown Disc"
