The german blu for creepshow 2 had a horrible transfer.

Yes,and was heavily cut. Also the Italian version had bad picture and sound.
Let's hope the Image Entertainment release will be better..

I love my Blu-ray of the first Creepshow. I never liked the second movie quite as much, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again. It's worth it just for "The Raft."

When I saw the subject, I got excited, but then I saw that it's coming from Image and got less excited. Don't forget about their sub-par releases of Hellraiser 1 and 2.
I will of course hold out hope for this one, but will await reviews.

Yup, their first wave of 'Midnite Madness' BDs looked terrible. Plus, no extras. So I'd caution everyone to wait for reviews.

Please tell me this won't be the censored version that was released a while back on blu-ray elsewhere. That had a key moment of the film censored badly - a scene was literally cut to smithereens, like it was a tv version or something. I believe it might have been the German version that was censored.

It should be fine. Image has many faults and leaves much to be desired in their discs, but they don't cut the films on them. Probably gonna get this as it's a fav, but want to see some reviews myself as Image is so hit or miss.
