"The Kid" (2019) Chris Pratt & Ethan Hawke - Blu-ray Forum

I looked for a thread about this movie but couldn't find any. It barely registered in theaters in the spring but is now on blu-ray and digital.

It isn't a great western, but it is an entertaining western. Ethan Hawke plays Pat Garrett and the young man from Valerian plays Billy the Kid. Chris Pratt has a smaller role as a very bad hombre.

Vincent D'Onofrio directed and cast his daughter in one of the supporting roles. All I can say is, she's pretty!!

Wow... remember hearing about this a few months back, but didn't know it already came, went, and got a blu-ray release.

I posted this in the Westerns thread last week.

I didn't like the film. I expected something better, I guess.

You can rely on Hawke to be good in practically everything. Movies with Ethan Hawke should come with a money-back guarantee that you'll at least enjoy his acting.

I agree, I thought the movie was ok but not something I'd ever watch again. Would not recommend as a blind buy.
