I went and saw this this morning. I went in with, frankly, rather low expectations, knowing absolutely nothing about Guardians of The Galaxy, and frankly thinking it looked rather silly with a talking raccoon and all that.

Boy was I mistaken. This is one of the funniest and most enjoyable movies of I've seen in rather a long time, and certainly one of the funniest and most enjoyable movies of the year. I can't wait to see it again and pick this up on day one (whenever that may be).

Just saw this a few hours ago.

This movie is awesome!

One of the best that Marvel have done so far.

I'll definitely be picking it up when it gets released on BD.

Hoping Best Buy truly secures the exclusive on a U.S. steelbook. One of Marvel's best, and I'd love to continue getting the fantastic Steelbooks for their films.

Yeah for me definately the best marvel film so far. And it appears on track for a 90-100 Mill opening in the US this weekend which will be great. Its likely to b a bit front loaded but it has good word of mouth and the franchises history should give it some legs. Internationally i think it will do very good business.

Any estimations when this will be out? December, maybe?

I loved the movie and can't wait to own it. I want a steelbook. Hopefully we'll get some cool exclusives.

that would be my guys/hope. Their biggest movie of the year? With any luck it'll be out just before Christmas.

Can't see it not being released in December. If anything a release will help sell more toys and comics to the kids.

I'm so tempted to pre-order it, but I'd prefer to wait and see what exclusives will be available. I ultimately will be there first thing in the morning the Tuesday it releases.

Love this movie to pieces. Great cast, especially Chris Pratt and Bradley Cooper. But I dig the entire ensemble. I dig all of it. Plan to see it again in theaters before the semi-long wait for Blu-ray.

Movie was awesome, unlike a couple of the movies Marvel put out recently like Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. They weren't bad, but they were needless. Captain America 2 was great with the Hydra story arch, but this now takes the cake as this single best Marvel film to date. 2nd best would be The Avengers for sure.

Just saw Guardians of the Galaxy 3D, and it was one of the greatest cinematic experiences in recent memory.
It even elicited applause out of our surprisingly small audience.
No surprise, Rocket and Groot steal the show.
I'm all in for the 3D version.

I hope they use that poster for the 3D BD so it's on the slip. There wasn't much variation in design for the posters released for this, and with there being a lot of characters versus one main character, I feel like they're more cornered into using that group shot.

That's what I was thinking, too. This is going to sell a lot of units no matter when it's released, but I think they'll want to cash in on people buying the Blu-rays and DVDs for Christmas presents.

Yes the movie was so freaking Awesome and the soundtrack was amazing!!! I can't wait until it's released I want a Steelbook also.
