When cinemas are operating at 40% of their regular capabilities and the two biggest marks (New York and L.A.) haven't budged on opening back up, to perform as it did is still pretty miraculous. It would have been nice to see it do better, but under the circumstances, it did the best it was going to.

Really looking forward to getting this and New Mutants on blu ray.

Due to my medical issue(a compromised immune system),there was no way I could take a chance on seeing either one in a theater even though I love going to the theater and Tenet -is one I would of wanted to see in IMAX.I've seen all of Nolan's releases in IMAX starting with Inception so it was disappointing not to be able to go see Tenet but again,I'm in a high risk category regarding COVID-19 and just can't take a chance regarding going ot the movies.

So I'm very happy Tenet looks to be hitting disks for Christmas Will definitely be buying this as a blind buy.Same with New Mutants.

yeah, it's not coming out on december 15th. i'm sure they want to give it another run in theaters before they do the bluray. so nothing before april, probably

Hope you're wrong because the ship has sailed for this film getting another wide release in theaters and actually doing well. People who want to watch this in theaters can do so almost anywhere now, and it's spread like a virus online as well. They aren't going to make a ton of money if it gets a major release push later. If anything they will lose money in advertising in the US.

I'm really excited for this to finally release at home. I know the theaters are at skim milk (2%) capacity, but I still don't want to risk contracting a debilitating illness by seeing a movie. Things could always go wrong. So I'm excited to finally try this movie out! Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite directors and it looks like another big hit from him. Hopefully it's more Interstellar than Dunkirk, though, as I was not much a fan of the latter.

Day 1 4K for me as well, had hopes at the beginning of the year to see it in July. I think I’ve waited long enough considering it’s about the only movie that DIDN’T get pushed back.

I haven’t seen the movie myself, but according to reviews, definitely seems like it’s the former.

Day 1 for the 4K. I watched this in Dolby cinema, and i was absolutely blown away by this. I know it isn't saying much that this is my favorite move of 2020, but i think even if this was a normal year and everything that was supposed to be released, actually got released, this would still be the best movie of 2020.


I cannot wait to see this again.

I surprisingly haven't seen this myself, and I haven't been in a hurry after hearing how mediocre it supposedly is. I enjoy Nolan's films, but they aren't completely my taste.
