Are you a fan of the All-Male Reboots?

As the title suggests, I would very much like to know your opinions about All-Male Reboots of previously All-Male movies (which can be debated as females still feature in the originals).

So far I have seen All-Male Reboots for:

Spider-Man
Point Break
Commando


Those are 3 very good franchises right there. I spoke with my friend about this and his opinion was:

"I think it is very ridiculous to make movies this way. The original movies were good because of the actors in it, and it doesn't seem right to remake it with an entirely different cast. It's like making a Back To The Future 4, but gender swapping all of the characters. It would suck and I assume that there will be pissed off fans that love the original movies. I am making this assumption since I am one of those fans."

For me personally I would agree, but it highly depends on the talent and skills of the new actresses they cast. It will either be a success or a fail. I don't really mind as it would be interesting to see a new angle on the movies, but I think my friend feels strongly about it and I wondered what other peoples thoughts were on it.

So.. what are your thoughts and opinions on this?

Bad Girls 1994 was kind of a rip-off of The Wild Bunch. Maybe we can get an all male reboot of an all female rip-off.
