Looks like the dvd/3 cd set will be sold elsewhere, but the Blu-ray set is limited to 12,500 and exclusive to dead.net.

yeah I was thinking about posting this info the other day, but forgot. This will be a sought after bd for sure.
for those wondering Sunshine Daydream is a long unreleased film concert/scene film the Dead made back in 1972 at an epic benefit concert at ken Kesey's farm in Oregon on 8/27/72. Deadheads have been begging for its official release forever, and now it has been lovingly restored and the audio remastered. considered one of the Dead's finest shows ever. The film contains lots of footage of the band playing with even more footage of the surrounding "happenings". Last edited by Arkadin; 08-14-2013 at 11:18 AM. |

Just when I thought I'd managed to withdraw, it looks like I might be getting sucked right back in again. Wish it wasn't so damn expensive (and that it wasn't going to ship out of Kentucky... still have nightmares from last year (just kidding about the 'still' part, but it was pretty much a nightmare at the time)).

I'd really love to get it, but with shipping to Germany (plus taxes) I already spent over €150 for the 1977 CD box-set earlier this year (which IS fantastic) and the Dave's Picks 2014 subscription is coming up so I have to pass. I pre-ordered the retail version for €25 which is a nice deal. Of course I'd prefer the Blu-ray, but more importantly I'm a sucker for essays and extra booklets, etc. so it hurts, but it's just too damn expensive. Not 1972 expensive though

I just noticed this announcement. Woot! Sure was happy that Dead.Net still has copies of the BD.

Just found out about this release from Grateful Dead radio on Sirius this past Tuesday. Ordered it immediately and selected standard shipping and it's expected to be delivered tomorrow. Now that's fast shipping. Looking forward to seeing this long "lost" film. Love the Dead and still miss Jerry after all the years combined.

I'd really really like to get it, but with delivery to Malaysia (plus taxes) I already invested over €150 for the 1977 CD box-set a few months ago (which IS fantastic) and the Dave's Choices 2014 registration is arriving up so I have to successfully pass. I pre-ordered the retail store edition for €25 which is a awesome cope. Of course I'd choose the Blu-ray, but furthermore I'm a push over for articles and additional brochures, etc. so it affects, but it's just too rattling costly. Not 1972 costly thoug
