Enjoyed this one at Frightfest. Quite glad it's coming out on Blu over here!

Yeah me too, I've seen some great reviews from this years Frightfest I think. I've had my eye on the dvd pre order for a while but I was considering importing the US blu as it looked like the UK wasn't going to get one. I wish some of the smaller horrors got more blu treatment, even if it's a limited release like this. I really want a UK release on blu for stuff like Starry Eyes, Spring, Cub and Inside. Fingers crossed Zavvi can do the same for Final Girls, that looks fun.

I've got the German steel of Spring on pre-order - pretty good price, but unknown yet whether it has the wealth of extras the US disc has. Would be all over a blu release of Inside, and Starry Eyes too - lets hope this one sells out and spurs Zavvi to acquire more!

I know it's Rotten Tomatoes, which is hit or miss in the accuracy, but it's currently 94% - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/we_are_still_here/

Inside would be great on Blu, I'd love to replace my DVD. I believe the US Blu of Starry Eyes plays on region B machines, so it might be worth importing that. I do need to watch it first, though.

This will have to be more than just a red case for me to spring for it.

Really liked this and glad, even though it's limited, it's getting a blu release. And with far better artwork than the DVD.

I've stayed away from the trailers and just read the odd review of this, but it does sound good. I've watched a few great little horrors recently that normally wouldn't be on my radar due to them only being released on dvd, only finding out about them through festival round up reviews and Amazon recommendations. I love the throwback 70s/80s retro slow horror style like House of the Devil and The Innkeepers, so hopefully this is something similar.

Yeah the price could be a bit lower, but in happy to support this if it means more smaller titles get a nice little release. And the red case is a bonus. Loves me a red case!

Still shows as £14.99 on a general search and my pre-order. What part of the world are you in? I've known Zavvi's prices to be different in some areas (Possession was £9.99 here in a Mega Monday once but for people accessing the site in some other countries it showed at £8.99), so maybe there's a disconnect when you reach the checkout. Might be worth dropping them a message to query it. £14.99 isn't bad at all for a release that's limited to 500, but if the site promises different from checkout you should probably chase it up.

I'm from the UK...

Think I'll just import it. Works out cheaper anyway.

I haven't seen this, with the really limited number of copies I'll probably pass so someone who loves this film gets a copy rather than some goon who probably won't like it

This movie was OK but for me it was a one watch only type affair. I thought something like Spring was vastly superior to this.

How odd. Well, I don't know how to explain that! I'll stick with my pre-order on Zavvi, I don't have a multi-region player at the moment and don't know if the US release will be region free.

I would suggest you have a 10% discount code stuck on your account hence why looks cheaper. I have the ZVC5 code with gives a 5% discount stuck to my account now so do not need to enter the code and for most orders it now just automatically discounts by 5%, however occasionally it says the item is not eligible for the discount as with many steelbook pre-orders.

So…..what’s so special about this “limited edition”? The US release was on pre-order recently for as low as $8.49 US, which I’m sure will be way cheaper to just import it to the UK.
