I saw the title of the thread and i was scared because I have already this Bluray and I thought I would have to double-dip (though I NEVER do it), because it's a favourite film of mine!
Fortunately I'm not interested in that artwork!
It's too minimalistic for me!

Please zavvi, let's see your proposal for Bram Stoker's Dracula!!

Now if it was actual leather, instead of metal with a picture of leather painted on it, that would be something.

I haven't seen this, but I've heard they're doing a sequel about coping in a world without viagra:

[Show spoiler]The Dead Pants Society

[Show spoiler]Sorry

My Friday 'silly mode' chip has been activated.

Just read that Lara Flynn Boyle's scenes as Ginny Danburry were deleted. Perhaps I might buy this someday: never did warm to her.

From imdb.com:

According to a 1991 interview on Late Night with David Letterman (1982), Lara Flynn Boyle was told the day of the film's premier that she had been edited out of the film and should not attend the premier.

Ouch!

I'm a big fan of Peter Weir, but I really hope these Disney films - This, Grosse Pointe Blank, Good Morning Vietnam get regular releases.

I like this design. No floating heads or missing title. Very classy. Will stand the test of time.

Preordered for now. Will cancel later if I decide against it. I paid $15 for the amaray last year when it was backordered everywhere after Robin's death. Still can't believe it's been a full year already.

Amarays which are available at all e-stores - HMV, amazon, base ect. Hopefully it's just a deal like they had with the BFI for Seven Samurai and not Dick Tracy and Rocketeer where once they sell out, they're gone. Surely Good Morning Vietnam/Dead Poets are popular enough for a general release, not just a Zavvi exclusive limited run.

Arrived this morning. The 'Dead Poets Society' square on the front is debossed.

It's got the DVD extras as well;

- A Look Back
- Raw Takes
- Master of Sound: Alan Splet
- Cinematography Master Class
- Audio Commentary
- Trailer

Looks to be exactly the same as the US disc
