EXCLUSIVE: Robert Rodriguez is in talks for an all-female cast Predator reboot

Following the muted response from the 2010 sequel Predators. Producer Robert Rodriguez and 20th Century Fox have returned to the drawing board and the latest rumour is that an all female led cast would take on the titular creature in a story that would take place back on earth and in the jungle.

It's currently being reported that the story will involve a group of female mercenaries sent in to liberate a small crime lords stronghold in a remote area of South Africa when they come across the Predator, hunting the girls one by one while they bicker and argue about men and how their makeup is ruined. It is currently uncertain if any cast members from previous films are to return in small roles and which actresses they are looking to fill the roles of the film.

This news breaks following the recent production of the Paul Feig's female led Ghostbusters reboot looking the release Summer next year and an all female Ocean's Eleven movie. We'll provide more information on the Predator reboot as it lands.
